The love continues at Essex Dementia Care

Our activity groups continued the Valentine’s theme with clients at our Bradwell, Braintree Oasis Group making cards for their loved ones on Monday. They played a Valentine’s Reminiscent game answering questions such as what you should wear on a date, bringing back some happy memories. There was also Valentine’s bingo and the day ended with a sing-along which was enjoyed by all.

The story of the Wendy and Keith, the couple featured previously in our ‘Latest News’ continued with Keith writing an adorable message to Wendy in his Valentine’s card:

“Roses are red

Violets are blue

Sixty six years

Have been bliss with you.”

Meanwhile at our Sandon, Chelmsford Oasis Group, the love, and laughter continued with client’s making some beautiful Valentine’s trees.

Our practitioners really put their all into making Valentine ‘s Day 2022 a wonderful experience for our clients and were rewarded with some lovely smiles and happy faces.

If you or a loved one would benefit from some activity based dementia care that will promote wellbeing and prolong independence, please give us a call on 01245 363789 to arrange a ‘Taster Day’. Alternatively, If One2One tailored care would be more suitable, then we can arrange activity personalised for the individual.
