Colourful spring wreaths brighten up the day

There really are no limits to the talents and enthusiasm the clients show us in the groups. This time at the Bradwell, Braintree Oasis group it was  floristry that stole the show.  Clients enjoyed  weaving  together some colourful and cheerful spring wreaths, enough  to brighten  up the gloomiest of days, what a fantastic effort!

Crafts stimulate brain activity and maintain dexterity in the fingers. The main objective however is to allow clients to do things in their own style and to find the activity enjoyable.  You can tell by the proud look on their faces that working with flowers has achieved this.

Group activities are designed to support different stages of the dementia journey within a social setting. To try a free ‘Taster Session’ or for more information on our services, please contact us on 01245 363 789.

We have promised to help more people with DEMENTIA in 2024 and are happy to announce the opening of a new ‘Every Day Counts’ activity centre in WRITTLE, Chelmsford.
