Aboriginal art and cards

The Sandon, Chelmsford, Oasis group had lots of fun with Brucie’s ‘Play your cards right’ game.  There was lots of banter and clues given and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Clients were then introduced to Aboriginal dot art. Dots were used by the Aboriginals to hide secret information and symbols underneath. It was great to see how the clients became immersed in the task, helping with their concentration.

EDC would like to help more people in the community living with dementia to maintain their independence for longer. By providing activity based care that stimulates the imagination and maintains skills, we can ensure that they continue to enjoy their best life at every stage of the journey. For an informal chat about how we can help, please call us on 01245 363789.

We have promised to help more people with DEMENTIA in 2024 and are happy to announce the opening of a new ‘Every Day Counts’ activity centre in WRITTLE, Chelmsford.
