During July and August, we ran a special promotion which we have now extended until 30th November 2023. We hope to help even more people to experience our specialist One2One service so we are offering a free, two hour session with one of our experienced ‘Memory Companions‘.
We believe that ‘Life doesn’t stop with dementia’ and our One2One service is carefully tailored for each individual’s personality and needs. The service is 100% people centred; clients get to choose how they would like to spend their time and loved ones have peace of mind knowing that they are in the best hands.
Our personalised sessions are so varied. Clients choose their favourite activities such as walking in the outdoors, visiting aquatic centres or museums, enjoying arts and crafts, interacting with their favourite animals and of course indulging in some tea and cake at a garden centre.
Once we have full understanding of the best way to move forward with a client, we appoint a personal ‘Memory Companion’ to help stimulate old memories and create new ones. As rapport and trust develops, our ‘Memory Companion’ will encourage the return of lost skills and offer opportunity for discovering new ones. We are also there to support and guide loved ones and commit to walking with the family on the dementia journey for as long as we are needed.
Sometimes our clients choose to stay at home baking, listening to music, playing games or just enjoying interacting with their ‘Memory Companion‘.
