How can I get some help for my person with dementia?

Do you have male and female practioners?

Yes we have both female and male practitioners.

Do you work weekends and evenings?

Yes our practitioners do work weekends and evenings. We have come to recognise that caring for someone is not just Monday to Friday 9 till 5 so we will endeavour to meet your needs where ever we can.

Is Essex Dementia Care regulated?

Yes we are registered with the Care Quality Commission.

What training do the staff have?

All staff have been DBS checked and achieve the Care Certificate on induction. They also have First Aid training and either have or are working towards a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care . Other training includes the Virtual Dementia Tour, Dementia Awareness, Dementia Principles, NAPA Level 2 in Dementia Activity Provision, Safe Guarding, Moving and Positioning  and other mandatory courses.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Mid Essex, South Essex to include: Braintree, Halstead, Chelmsford, Witham, Maldon, Hedingham, Dunmow, Coggeshall, Rochford, Castlepoint, Great Baddow, South Woodham Ferrer’s, Tollesbury, Rayleigh, and Southend.

Do you do short visits?

No, we have a minimum of two hours per visit because we are delivering therapeutic activity.

We have promised to help more people with DEMENTIA in 2024 and are happy to announce the opening of a new ‘Every Day Counts’ activity centre in WRITTLE, Chelmsford.
