The clients at ‘Every Day Counts’ Sandon were treated to an amazing celebration of Chinese New Year and really enjoyed all the activities. In the morning, the group spoke about how the Chinese New Year animals came about and what animal each client was.
There was a delicious lunch of sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, spring rolls and prawn crackers followed by Banana and Pineapple fritters all cooked by Sarah.
In the afternoon the clients produced some beautiful blossom tree paintings, took part in a Chinese New Year quiz, played a chop stick game and finished off the day with a ping pong ball game which is the national sport of China. It was a fantastic day!
