St Patrick’s Day – Sandon

Clients at the ‘Every Day Counts’ Sandon group enjoyed St Patrick’s Day celebrations. They named our blow up St Patrick’s mascot and the clients chose a name to go in the hat. The name chosen which was Patrick.  Clients enjoyed having pictures taken with him.

They then played Irish themed bingo followed by a game of ‘hunt the coin’ in the coloured green pasta and rice. The clients who found the gold coins won a prize.

Clients then had a tasty lunch of stew with colcannon mash and vegetables, followed by Roly Poly and custard all made by Sarah.

Later in the day they divided into two teams, the Leprechauns and the Blarney Stones and tried to toss as many of our coins into the cauldron.  The Leprechauns won with an impressive 76 points over 56 for the Blarney Stones – a fun activity.
