The ‘Every Day Counts’ Sandon group had a morning of reminiscing with the memory boxes from Chelmsford Museum and talking about VE day memories. Everyone celebrated by dressing up and enjoying a delicious afternoon tea lunch all made by Sarah. Doreen, who is dairy intolerant, was so chuffed with her own dairy free afternoon tea, she cried with happiness.
In the afternoon they all participated in fun games using union jack cups and balloons – and had a great time celebrating in style together.
