BIRTHDAY GIRL: Mary’s best friend Margaret contacted her ‘Memory Companion’ Kerry to invite them round to her house for a special celebration for Mary’s birthday last Monday.
Margaret had put on a lovely spread of canapes and scones and also presented Mary with a chocolate cake with sparkler in it. They sat and watched a DVD slideshow of Mary’s life that her children had given her for her 70th birthday, it was lovely to see all the wonderful things Mary has done over the years.
Mary has been best friends with Margaret for many years since their children were little. The ladies met through their church. Mary is very lucky to have such a lovely friend who made them very welcome and helped to make Mary feel so happy on her special day!
